AMSOIL Recommended Oils For Harley Davidson Motorcycles

Most motorcycle oils provide little or no rust and corrosion protection for the inside of an engine during storage. The new AMSOIL 20W-50 Synthetic Motorcycle Oil (MVC) is recommended for Harley-Davidson, Buell, Victory, Ducati, BMW, Aprilla and Triumph motorcycles calling for a 15W-50 or 20W-50 viscosity.

The new AMSOIL 10W-40 Synthetic Motorcycle Oil (MFC) is recommended for Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki, BMW, Husqvarna and KTM motorcycles calling for a 10W-40 or 20W-40 viscosity.

Two cycle engines in motorcycles are frequently pushed to severe operating conditions and abuse, which results in high engine temperatures, and dirty operating conditions. AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Oils provide maximum protection and performance in two cycle gasoline engines. AMSOIL Synthetic 2-Cycle Oils reduce engine operating temperatures, increase power output and keep engines cleaner than petroleum oils. The New Fabulous Four

As the leader in two-cycle oil technology, AMSOIL has performed extensive research in developing a new line of revolutionary, specialized oils called the "Fabulous Four." AMSOIL INTERCEPTOR Synthetic 2-Cycle Oil (AIT) was the first new oil to be introduced. It is primarily recommended as an injector oil or at a 50:1 mix ratio in carbureted, electronic fuel injected (EFI) and direct fuel injected (DFI) snowmobiles, personal watercraft, motorcycles and ATV's. AMSOIL Engine Fogging Oil

For vehicles that are stored or not operated for long periods of time, use AMSOIL Engine Fogging Oil to reduce corrosion from lack of use.

AMS-Oiler™

The AMS-Oiler™ is an oil pre-charger that puts an end to dry-engine starting. Typically, an engine that sits idle for even a short period of time will operate relatively dry upon starting before oil is able to fully lubricate the system. In fact, the automotive industry estimates that up to 50 percent of engine bearing wear occurs during the starting process. Indeed, the superiority of AMSOIL motor oils minimizes start-up wear by clinging to the metal surfaces, but even more can be done to concentrate the oil on the critical wear areas in an engine. With the AMS-Oiler in place, 160 cubic centimeters of oil is injected directly on the engine bearings and other wear sensitive surfaces upon turning of the key, giving instant protection to vital engine components.

AMSOIL SEVERE GEAR ™Synthetic Gear Lubes

AMSOIL Severe Gear Synthetic Extreme Pressure (EP) Lubricants are premium grade lubricants specifically engineered for maximum performance in severe duty applications. These state-of-the-art AMSOIL formulations feature an exclusive blend of high viscosity, shear stable synthetic base oils and an extra treatment of high-performance additives. AMSOIL Severe Gear Synthetic EP Lubricants maintain their viscosity for long-lasting protection against metal-to-metal contact. The proprietary AMSOIL additives form an iron-sulfide barrier coating on gear surfaces, providing the ultimate line of defense against wear, pitting and scoring. AMSOIL Severe Gear lubricants prevent "thermal runaway" - a phenomenon caused by a lubricant's inability to control friction and increased heat under high-stress conditions. By preventing thermal runaway, AMSOIL Severe Gear Synthetic EP Lubricants inhibit rapid lubricant degradation and component damage. Equipment runs better and lasts longer with AMSOIL Severe Gear Synthetic EP Lubricants.

AMSOIL Slip-Lock Differential Additive is formulated for use with both synthetic and petroleum gear lubricants and safely replaces manufacturer recommended friction modifiers. Its convenient flip-top dispenser provides quick and easy application to the gear housing. One four-ounce bottle of Slip-Lock treats differential capacities of two to four quarts. It is not for use in automatic transmissions or other applications requiring ATF.

NOTE: AMSOIL Synthetic Gear Lubes do not require the use of this additive. However, not all differentials respond the same and if chatter is noticed, the addition of AMSOIL Slip-Lock will eliminate it. For chattering differentials not running AMSOIL Gear Lube, this product is an excellent solution to the problem.

New Top-of-the-Line Ea Motorcycle Oil Filters

Ea Motorcycle Oil Filters feature a specially constructed silicone anti-drainback valve and a nitrile sealing gasket to go along with the full-synthetic Ea nanofiber media. The anti-drainback valve provides excellent protection during startup and remains flexible in all temperatures, and the nitrile sealing gasket resists chemical breakdown, providing excellent durability and ensuring long filter life. AMSOIL Ea Motorcycle Oil Filters are fluted for easy removal from the motorcycle and are available in a chrome-plated alternative to the normal black filters.

AMSOIL Ea Motorcycle Air Filters

The filtration media in the Ea Motorcycle Air Filter is pleated and has epoxy-coated wire on the face and back of the media for additional strength and stiffness. High quality plastisol potting compounds bond the pleat packs to the plastic or aluminum side plates. The S&S (aftermarket engine and carburetor manufacturer) style round filters are manufactured with high-quality plastisol that bonds the media to the wire backing and sealing area.
