Pressure (EP) Lubricants are premium grade lubricants
specifically engineered for maximum performance in
severe duty applications. These state-of-the-art AMSOIL
formulations feature an exclusive blend of high viscosity,
shear stable synthetic base oils and an extra treatment
of high-performance additives. AMSOIL Severe Gear
Synthetic EP Lubricants maintain their viscosity for
long-lasting protection against metal-to-metal contact.
The proprietary AMSOIL additives form an iron-sulfide
barrier coating on gear surfaces, providing the ultimate
line of defense against wear, pitting and scoring.
AMSOIL Severe Gear lubricants prevent "thermal runaway"
- a phenomenon caused by a lubricant's inability to
control friction and increased heat under high-stress
conditions. By preventing thermal runaway, AMSOIL
Severe Gear Synthetic EP Lubricants inhibit rapid
lubricant degradation and component damage. Equipment

Use in differentials, manual transmissions
or other gear applications where one or more of the
following standards are specified: API GL-5 & MT-1,
MIL-PRF-2105E, Dana SHAES 234 (Formerly Eaton PS-037)
for 250,000 miles, Mack GO-J, Arvin/Meritor 0-76N
(75W-90) & 0-76M (75W-140), plus hypoid gear oil specifications
from all foreign and domestic manufacturers such as
GM, Ford and Daimler Chrysler. Can also be used in
rear axles where API Service GL-4 lubricant is recommended.

AMSOIL 75W-90 Synthetic Manual Transmission
and Transaxle Gear Lube (MTG) is designed to meet
the special requirements of certain manual transmissions
and transaxles, such as the New Venture NV4500. It
is designed to replace AMSOIL 80W-90 Synthetic Gear
Lube (AGT) and provide improved internal component
protection. These transmissions are cast iron and
have exhaust pipes close to them, causing them to
run hot. Increased operating temperatures can harden
seals and cause oil leaks. In addition to lubricating
gears, bearings and synchromesh systems, transmission
oil must keep seals soft even when temperatures increase.
The premium synthetic formulation of AMSOIL Synthetic
Manual Transmission and Transaxle Gear Lube is designed
to specifically address the needs of these hot running
transmissions.

AMSOIL Universal Synthetic Marine
Gear Lube is an exclusive AMSOIL formulation of synthetic
base oils and high performance additives that address
the specific concerns of marine applications. It is
extreme pressure (EP) additive fortified for superior
protection of fast accelerating, high torque/horsepower
engines. It protects against shock loading from cavitation
of heavily loaded engines.
AMSOIL Universal Synthetic Marine
Gear Lube is water resistant. It maintains extreme
pressure protection even when contaminated with as
much as 10% water. It promotes longer seal life, preventing
excessive water leakage. AMSOIL Universal Synthetic
Marine Gear Lube protects against rust and is compatible
with aluminum, copper and brass alloys.

AMSOIL Slip-Lock Differential Additive
is formulated for use with both synthetic and petroleum
gear lubricants and safely replaces manufacturer recommended
friction modifiers. Its convenient flip-top dispenser
provides quick and easy application to the gear housing.
One four-ounce bottle of Slip-Lock treats differential
capacities of two to four quarts. It is not for use
in automatic transmissions or other applications requiring
ATF.
NOTE:
AMSOIL Synthetic Gear Lubes do not require the use
of this additive. However, not all differentials respond
the same and if chatter is noticed, the addition of
AMSOIL Slip-Lock will eliminate it. For chattering
differentials not running AMSOIL Gear Lube, this product
is an excellent solution to the problem.
