AMSOIL Synthetic Engine Lubricants

AMSOIL synthetic engine oils shield engine parts from rust and continuously neutralize engine oil acids. They are ideal for use during operations and lay-up.

Additionally, AMSOIL synthetic motor oils are formulated for extended drain intervals. In fact, many AMSOIL product users base their oil changes on the findings of used oil analysis rather than operating hours, a critical benefit in operations where time is money and oil changes are difficult.

AMSOIL synthetic motor oils are extended drain capable because they are synthetic oils. Synthetics are much more resistant to heat, oxidation and mechanical breakdown than are conventional oils, which helps synthetic last longer than conventional oils last. AMSOIL synthetic motor oils are formulated with long-lasting, top-quality additives to take advantage of the durability of synthetic basestocks, and make extended drain capable oils.

Finally, synthetic oils offer superior lubrication and protection to that offered by conventional oils, due to the ability of synthetics to maintain low temperature fluidity for rapid post-startup lubrication and protection and their ability to maintain a durable film of protection in high-temperature operations.

AMSOIL Series 2000 Gasoline Motor Oils

Special synthetic basestocks blends and advanced additive packages found only in AMSOIL Series 2000 synthetic motor oils provide up to four times the wear protection of other motor oils. AMSOIL Series 2000 synthetic motor oils reduce friction for quicker engine response, increased horsepower and improved fuel efficiency.

AMSOIL Synthetic Diesel Motor Oils

AMSOIL Synthetic 15w-40 Heavy Duty Diesel and Marine Oil and AMSOIL Series 3000 Synthetic 5W-30 Heavy Duty Diesel Oil contain tough, dependable anti-rust agents that shield engine metals from water. Both are formulated with 12 Total Base Number for dependable, long-lasting acid inhibition and corrosion protection. Generally, motor oils average 7 TBN, significantly lower corrosion protection than the 12 TBN of AMSOIL 5W-30 and 15W-40.

The anti-rust, anti-corrosion protection of AMSOIL 5W-30 and 15W-40 is especially important during periods of lay-up when standing water may do great harm.

AMSOIL Synthetic 15W-40 Heavy Duty Diesel and Marine Oil

AMSOIL Synthetic 15W-40 Heavy Duty Diesel and Marine Oil is specially formulated for marine diesel or gasoline engines, with powerful rust inhibitors and 12 TBN, a highly protective acid-neutralizing number. It is formulated for extended drain intervals, and has proven itself in extended drain in-engine-service since 1975, the year it was introduced.

AMSOIL Synthetic 15W-40 Heavy Duty Diesel and Marine Oil provides the ultimate in diesel engine protection. Specifically formulated for long-life, it resists oxidation and thermal breakdown, retains viscosity and eliminates sludge and varnish formation. Outstanding lubricity provides unbeatable wear protection and maximum fuel efficiency. It contains special performance additives for acid and soot control. Extended drain capability reduces downtime and oil expenses.

AMSOIL Series 3000 Synthetic 5W-30 Heavy Duty Diesel Oil

AMSOIL Series 3000 Synthetic 5W-30 Heavy Duty Diesel Oil has a fuel efficient formula for gasoline and diesel engines. It contains the beefiest additive package of all AMSOIL motor oils and delivers better wear protection than other popular diesel oils, effectively reducing fuel consumption. These oils contain anti-rust agents that shield engine metals from water. AMSOIL Oils for Two-Cycle Gasoline-Powered Marine Applications

DOMINATOR Synthetic 2-Cycle Racing Oil is recommended for racing applications in outboard motors. AMSOIL DOMINATOR Synthetic 2-Cycle Racing Oil is specially engineered for unsurpassed protection of high performance two-cycle boat motors. It contains heavier synthetic base oils that provide more lubricity for "on the edge" operation. DOMINATOR reduces friction and protects pistons and bearings subjected to the rigors of racing. DOMINATOR contains an exact blend of proprietary additives for clean motor operation.

INTERCEPTOR Synthetic 2-Cycle Oil is engineered specially for personal watercraft and jet boats. It excels in power sports applications and engines equipped with exhaust power valves. It contains the finest synthetic ester base oils and additives available for exceptional cleanliness properties. INTERCEPTOR is the result of years of field testing, which provided some of the most severe conditions possible. INTERCEPTOR excels at controlling exhaust valve sticking and provides outstanding overall lubrication properties.

HP Injector Synthetic 2-Cycle Oil is a precise synthetic formulation that provides superior performance in direct fuel injected (DFI), electronic fuel injected (EFI) and carbureted outboard motors, as well as other recreational two-cycle equipment. HP Injector exceeds the lubrication demands of modern two-cycle engines. It contains premium synthetic base oils and MAX-DOSE additive system.

Saber Outboard Synthetic 100:1 Pre-Mix 2-Cycle Oil contains lower temperature dispersants for water-cooled out-board motors. It is specifically designed for lean mix ratios in pre-mix applications. Extensive testing shows superior lubricity and cleanliness properties at lean mix ratios.

Racing:

(1) Not recommended for long-term use in outboard motors as a TC-W3 type oil, although excellent as a race oil for short term use where motors are periodically inspected.

(2) Excellent for racing or modified motors. Very good for recreational use.

75W/80W-90 Universal Synthetic Marine Gear Lube

AMSOIL Universal Synthetic Marine Gear Lube is an exclusive AMSOIL formulation of synthetic base oils and high performance additives that address the specific concerns of marine applications. It is extreme pressure (EP) additive fortified for superior protection of fast accelerating, high torque/horsepower engines. It protects against shock loading from cavitation of heavily loaded engines.

AMSOIL Oil Filtration Systems

The AMSOIL Ea Spin-On By-Pass Filter cleans oil diverted from engine circulation by treating it to ultra-fine filtration that removes sub-micron sized particles and water.

That helps engine oil last its longest and perform its best. In fact, use of the By-Pass oil filter may eliminate the need for oil changes.

AMSOIL Marine Dual Remote and By-Pass Filtration System

The effects of marine engines running predominantly at or near full throttle after extended periods of non-activity include high operating temperatures and increased potential for wear on engine components. The AMSOIL Marine Dual Remote Filtration System offers a clear advantage by providing better oil filtration, increased oil capacity, longer oil and filter life, plus the ability to remove water from the lubrication system. Moisture typically condenses inside engines to combine with residual combustion gases. The resulting compounds strip beneficial additives from engine oil and act as corrosive substances that further degrade the engine oil and promote engine wear. Humid environments make marine engines especially prone to these conditions. The BMK-18 greatly curbs the effects of moisture and condensation by safely retaining water within the filtration system.

AMSOIL took the performance built into our standard big truck By-Pass filters, and put it into a much more convenient and versatile pacakge.

Wear tests have shown particles of contamination in the sub-20-micron range are most harmful to rings and bearings. Most trucks are sold with a full-flow filter as their only oil cleasnsing unit. A study by the Milwaukee School of Engineering determined the filtering efficiency of four top-selling full-flow filters compared with a BE-90 AMSOIL Spin-On Bypass Filter. The graph (below) shows the By-Pass functioning at 97.6% efficiency in removing particles as small as 3 microns, a feat no full-flow filter can match.

The AMSOIL Ea Dual Remote Oil Filtration System combines the AMSOIL Super Duty Oil Filter and the AMSOIL Spin-On By-Pass Oil Filter on a single mount that may be placed anywhere space allows in the engine compartment, for ease of serviceability.

The Dual Remote increases the circulating oil volume in the engine. That helps the oil stay cleaner and last longer, and it helps regulate engine temperature, which promotes engine life.

AMS-Oiler™

The AMS-Oiler™ is an oil pre-charger that puts an end to dry-engine starting. Typically, an engine that sits idle for even a short period of time will operate relatively dry upon starting before oil is able to fully lubricate the system. In fact, the automotive industry estimates that up to 50 percent of engine bearing wear occurs during the starting process. Indeed, the superiority of AMSOIL motor oils minimizes start-up wear by clinging to the metal surfaces, but even more can be done to concentrate the oil on the critical wear areas in an engine. With the AMS-Oiler in place, 160 cubic centimeters of oil is injected directly on the engine bearings and other wear sensitive surfaces upon turning of the key, giving instant protection to vital engine components.

AMSOIL Synthetic Greases

Synthetic Water Resistant Grease is an extreme-pressure lithium-complex wheel bearing grease specially formulated for extreme resistance to water washout.
